My local Nissan dealer is looking into whether they can get me a 280zx antenna. I am pretty sure the answer is no, as I think I asked when I got my 81 in 1999. (Remember, I'm in Australia, most of 280zx parts are considered obsolete by Nissan Australia)

So, are there any other Z or Nissan or even other brand antennas that are the same (or similar enough) as the 280zx's? Something I can just plug straight in.

Harada sells a lot of power antennas, and just saw one in Summit racing catalog by Scosche with several adapters for the fender for $59.95 US. Might check around local distributors for those manufacturers.

You may consider a fixed antenna. Mine's been up (antenna, that is) for about it's entire life here in the crime capital. None of these power ants. last very long if used regularly.
