What are you running now? That T61 is too big for a z that will be street driven any at all. We are talking full race territory. Save your money for an engine management system. You will need it to feed a turbo that big. We are talking 800cc injectors, massive fuel pumps, and huge intercooler to cool the 28+ PSI you would need to run to justify such a huge turbo on a 2.8 liter motor. Do your car in stages, upgrading a little each time. You will be much happier.

The situation is...

The situation is that I have a little problem,

If I can get a 60-1 or H3 (that is supposed to be good for the Z and for $300 I can do exactly the same as the $700 unit I go for the best unit I can afford.
I can deal with it running low boost (say 11 psi) untill I have the Electromotive (in the next month. At the same time I am looking for the turbo, I am going for A massive intercooler, that is why I have other post that ask for the best/biggest intercooler that can be fit (my dimensions are 23x14)
I still know that turbo intercooler is ONLY part of the equation. I know that I will need bigger fuel pump which I am getting and bigger injectors which I will get with the electromotive.
I know I am biased towards the T61 but it is because it can outflow the 60-1 and the H3 at any rpm. It can flow for 300 hp which is where I am at (more or less) with the T3/T4 V trim turbo I have now, and can flow for 600 hp in the near future when I have my JE forged pistons shortblock complete and the electromotive with bigger injectors.
That is the only reaso I am willing to pay $1,050 for that turbo

What I am a little worried is about the turbine trim (right now I am looking for a P trim with .69 a/r)

A question...

Do you have external wastegate?
if so, how you had it installed?
