if you search the archives.. you'll probably find a fairly comprehensive list of things to do...
the basics would be.. cold air induction... larger throttle body...if its not already, a turbo AFM... headers... (i dont think headers are either possible.. or a good idea on turbo cars)(dont have a turbo.. so dont know specifics)
free flow exhaust....
you could get into engine mods...
perhaps even swapping out the engine for a turbo.. if its not already...
i have an 80 ZX... and its not too slow...
i raced a 66 mustang tonight.. i'm assuming he had a st 6.. cause neither one of us could get away... although i was SLIGHTLY pulling on him.. i think he may have either had an auto tranny.. or didnt know how to shift...
and most cars i "play" with... spank me... but thats cause i like to see what the big boys can do.. so i'll rev my engine by an SS camaro... or BOSS mustang..
i have yet to even hang with a beamer.. i hate it when they assume i want to race... and start trying to tempt me.. cause i cant say no..
then they just keep on going....and i cant ever catch up...
i've got this one stretch of road... i guess its my lucky stretch... cause i've never lost a race there..
and its actually the only road i've won a race...
but 4 bangers are easy prey... unless they've been modified.. and more than just stickers.
