I installed my sway bar and tension rod bushings last weekend, easy enough. The guy at Motorsports said the steering rack bushings were real easy to install. YEAH RIGHT!!
Has anyone out there done this themselves?? I couldnt get the steering rack away from the bottom of the old bushing. How do I do this??

Any adice is appreciated.

Craig; the rack is held on by a set of nuts (jambnuts) and bolts. You have to remove the nuts first, then remove the bolts(they are screwed into threaded holes and then everything should be easy from there. Sorry for the sketchy details, I havent done this since last summer. If you really get into a bind, i will look it up in my haynes manual for you (just ask).

Good luck _evan
