An electric Z?

Looks like Nissan is trying the electric sports car market. Looks a lot like a tweak of the 370Z......

Maybe it'll have a sound system that puts out a vroom-vroom sound. Who wants a quiet Z?
I allready dislike the look its just wrong looking.

I was thinking of a concept allong with a common useage of the stock engine but to run an electric motor to power it when the car isn't under a certan load or is traviling at a constant speed. Just somthing similar to cruse control but to reduce fuel concomption but somthing that would be an after market option.
I LIKE IT!
I'm on the fence about the headlight and taillights. Though the design overall isn't bad at all.

I agree. Like Homer Simpson said "When I gun the engine, I want it to sound like the world is coming to an end!!!"

personally i'm disappointed.. one of the reasons i like cars is that rumble you get when you have a large engine up front.. That sound you get when you gun it.. Electric all you get is that Buzzing sound... I was hoping for a hydrogen option.. Clean burning and the engine doesn't have to go away

I just cant imagine trying to replace the bulbs or work on the engine with the headlights going that far into the bay area. I could be wrong though, maybe its just a large Duracell in there =P
check this out, an 11- second electric Datsun lol

If I recall there is a guy with an electric 240z as well. Seems there is really nothing new under the sun.

Personally I wouldn't want an electric vehicle for daily use until there are almost as many recharging stations as gas stations, but electric cars can provide a fun toy to mess around with. Isn't that what sports cars are all about? Not to mention that you will have GOBS of torque lol. The trick for Nissan in this project and for Tesla is to convince people that its worth spending boat loads of money on something that is really not more than a toy, when they could have bought a gas powered sports car for the same or less money and not have to deal with the issue of charging stations.
well.. maybe it won't need charging stations and it would just plug into a normal wall outlet.. personally i Don't want tto have to replace that battery.. probably the most expensive thing
what I dislike about plug and go is the fact that if you can't get the axels to work like an alternator to power the batteries to power the motors to the rear or front diff that'll return power used?

Say what? Maybe some punctuation and effort could make that into a statement worth putting your name next to, but what you just posted makes no sense at all.
Oh c'mon, we all know that won't happen unless its a bit more serious. If you read any post I made notice any improvements?

I think what he is trying to say is that you cannot utilize regenerative braking with an all electric vehicle, which is absolutely not true by the way. Perhaps some research before posting would be helpful in addition to writing legible sentences.
Ah come on guys - punctuation is not all that it's cracked up to be.

Pop Quiz: Give proper punctuation to this phrase -

that that is is that that isnt isnt is that it it is
That that is, is. That that isn't, isn't. Is that it? It is.
