Hate to tell you this, but aluminum head engines REALLY don't like to overheat. I know of maybe one out of 10 that this has happened to where there was no apparent damage. Depending on how hot it got and for how long (hope you shut it off as soon as you noticed), you could be looking at anything from a blown head gasket to a cracked head. A compression test will reveal the sordid truth.
