ROADFOOD!!

Haven't heard about this in years! Yup, people used to do this back in 70's and early 80's a lot. You can even find a couple of cookbooks on the subject. Just have to wrap what you're cooking in multiple layers of alum foil, and lay it preferably on or near exhaust manifold and drive for a while. Safe as long as not real greasy and leaking (either the foil or the manifold). Best done on long journeys. POT HEADS!? Who you callin' a pot head? So, does your friend own a VW bus? hmmmmm? ;-L

Re: ROADFOOD!!

Yup but things has changed.
Use Pam so food doesn’t gum up your injectors.
The hard part is getting the spatula under the rails to flip the burgers.

BTW, We would use it to keep food warm, for this anyplace under the engine bay is good.
