Re: air horns a good idea for su s? & how far can an l26 be bore
I've been looking for the link and can't find it. But I remember a dyno test done on air horns with British SU's and the results were not too dramatic. The biggest improvements came with the shortest air horns....which was not what I expected, but it just goes to show that a long air horn is still not long enough to offer the standing pressure wave benefits of a true velocity stack. I would consider them carefully before spending a lotta money on them, but yes, they slightly improve flow and power.
