Aftermarket gauges

I am half way through the install of the Phantom series. They look georgeous.Especially at night when they glow indiglo green.

As per previous posts, you will want to mount them with the dash out. (although you can get them temporarily fitted by wrapping some adhesive backed foam weatherstripping around them if you want to get the wiring right first.

I have gone with.

160MPH Speedo (on order) 5"
Plain 5" TACH installed
2 5/8 Water (electric)
2 5/8 Oil pressure electric
2 5/8 Volts (I have a GM alternator)
2" Nitrous Pressure (better believe it baby) not installed yet.
2" Rich/Lean indicator (well I am running carbs)
2" Fuel guage (cant figure out which one to go with)

I selected a fine piece of exotic hardwood from my local woodshop and proceeded to shape it and cut out three holes for the 2" guages. They fit right in the console in place of where the radio used to be. French polishing the hardwood in a week or so after the shellac cures.

It is expensive but the autometer gauges are worth it. Especially if any of your stock ones don't work anyway (Tach didn't work, clock didn't work, AMP didn;t work, fuel guage didn't work, replaced oilpressure sender, etc).
