Would like to know what size are the gauges in an 82 280ZX to include speedo and tach. Planning on using Autometer gauges. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Autometer 5" tach & speedo along with thier 2 5/8" smaller gauges would work best. However, they are not "plug and play" and will require some work to fit properly.

It CAN, however, be done. Have fun with the circuit board modifications if you want the idiot lights to still function properly. As Mayolives stated, it's definitely not a plug and play situation. Nothing hard, just gotta get a little creative.

I used 2 5/8 as well plus I hand built my own 3 gauge A pillar pod out of fiberglass and color coded it.

What ohms did you use for the fuel gauge and also with the speedo-electric or mechanical? Did you use electric or mechanical gauges for the rest? Thanks for all the help.
