I have an 81zx turbo with a nissan 5spd. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good aftermarket coil that will work on the turbo? I tried to order one from Motorsport but they told me that it wouldn't work and that they didn't have anything that would. Any suggestions, I'm rebuilding my motor and would like a little more "fire in the hole".

I was using an MSD hi-vibration coil. It was pretty good, but you have to use aftermarket plug wires. I have since then changed to a Crane Cam Hi-6 Ignition setup. If you are still looking for a coil with just a little more juice and don't require an ignition box, try looking in the victoria british catalog. I think they might be able to help.
