Anyone else got the old style HKS SSQV? Should I adjust the screws in or out to make them more sensative? It holds 18psi and doesnt leak so I believe I'm good where I'm at, but they dont really seem to "chirp" like I thought they would, they really just sort of woosh like the OEM recircs but with a slight whistle towards the end.

Hmm. Bummer to hear that, I was told and to understand from what I thought I was hearing, that the SSQVs were a good sound. I got them for 230 shipped so I feel like it was a good deal. Oh well. Its louder than stock for sure

There is no adjustment for sound with those BOVs. That screw adjusts the pressure they hold. The only way to adjust the sound is to change out the fin in teh front. I personally ran mine with no fin but a recirc connection instead. I got tired of the sound they made so the finless setup sounded better to me. But i have long got rid of them and went back to recircs which are better for the car.
