Added Horns and Relay(s)

On my 260Z, I would like to add another set of horns to the existing ones. Could I just wire them to the existing wires adjacent to the original horns with inline fuses instead of relays, without a problem? If relays are needed, will you let me know which wires go where? I am dumb when it comes to electrical. Thanks, Goldie240

You want ALL horns to go. Yes just tap into the wire going to the horn. Elec is not rocket science. If you know how a flashlight works you can figure it out from there.
You want a really LOUD horn on your Z? Wire in an old 6Volt horn. May not last long, but it WILL get attention, and heard by most hearing impaired.

I added two Porsche/Audi horns to my 78Z. I "tapped off" the hot wire to the stock horns and used it to go to the power relay, 4 pin, 30A type, to it's "coil wire" (to turn ON the relay.) Ran another 12 gauge wire to the battery for relay power. Do you notice how small econo cars have such muffled horns? You don't want THAT. "Git that reA-spect" NK
I used to have a 1960 Renault Dauphine many moons ago. It had 2 horns at the end of the column if memory serves. A country horn and a city horn. I've toyed with the idea of putting a train horn under the hod...that's mees someone's britches bawahaha
Thanks, these are all good suggestions that are beneficial. Goldie240
