My turn signal malfunctioned today while I was driving at about 85 mph. If yours does, it can blow the fuse that powers your ignition and you will completely stall like I did. They are on the same circuit. The contact plate inside the switch fell apart and was shorting against the body of the switch.
I was about to call a tow truck after blowing 4 fuses. Then I relaized it happened when I put my turn signal on to change lanes. I am sure this is a wierd problem, but I thought I should pass it along just to keep in the back of your heads.
