Upon popping the hood on a 92 Pathifinder which a friend abandoned in my driveway 3 years ago, I see that underneath is a VG30!

Looks nearly identical to the NA in my 85 300zx.

The intake manifold is artistically different.

Distributor cap is in a different location, and the ac compressors freon tubing is shorter. Other than that they look identical.

Anyone have any further knowledge on the subject.

Thx. :)

Yep, a lot of people put the 'pathy' intake on their '31s.

A quick search will show you all about it if you're interested.

I believe all pathfinder previous to the VQ used the VG33, although its the same basic motor.

Nope it's a VG30(E), just like my Z's.

The bracket with the ac connecting wheel(pully) on it is a diifferent shape though.

Power steering pump is bolted in from the front end instead of the back, or someone insightful turned mine around before I bought it.

Anyways, I'm pulling the AC compressor, and power steering pump, seats I've already pulled, as well as several other interior components.

Any one in the Phoenix area want to buy an engine?
