I am going to put a new turbo and intercooler setup on my 81zx and I was wondering what to do with the AFM. It will get in the way with the intercooler piping. Can I just take it out? Will the car run right without it? If not what do I do to make it run correctly? Any other options?

You will have to keep it!! If you keep the factory ECU... Now if you get rid of the factory ECU and get a SDS,TECII you can toss the AFM.
