so it's been raining here in the bay lately, and i haven't been in the z all week. yesterday i get in to get some food with a lady friend, but there's a problem:
i can't open the passenger door.
i tried to open it by unlocking my door (power locks) but it feels different.. my door still unlocks, but it seems like it's harder to do, and the passenger door remains locked. i leaned over to manually unlock it.. no dice. the lever doesn't budge. i tried to unlock it with the key from outside, but the key won't turn.
any ideas? it's a tad embarassing to make people crawl in through the driver's side. **** car only has 45k miles too....

You have electric windows. What's the prob?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Only two things I can suggest is to click locks off and on a bunch of times to see if it loosens, or (cringe) try to take the inner panel off and see what's come adrift. This will be loads of fun with the door closed. It sounds more like something's come off or jammed than a bad lock.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago; but it was the driver side door. If your door latch mechanism get water in it, it could be corroded. Use a hanger hook and try to open it from outside. Once it's open, remove the door panel and spray some DW40 and lubricant to the latch. Do the same for the driver side also. After lubrication, it should be very smoth when closing and opening it & your power lock should work also
good luck
