For anyone that has a 82-83 Turbo 280 that will start up, run fine for approx. 15 minutes( or till it heats up) , then stall out, and not start for about 15 minutes and then repeat the same cycle, I have fixed mine. It turned out to be the crank angle sensor(distributor) that was electronicly opening up when the engine heated up,therefore, no signal to the computer, thus, no signal to the ignitor transistor, thus , no fire from the coil.

I replaced the unit distributor($350.00) , this took 5 minutes, and with the fresh turbo I also installed, she is screaming again, even if she has 175K miles on her.

Thanks for the ZCAR board Derek and for those who provided input.
