I'm looking at an '83 N/A 280ZX with a digital dash. The fuel gauge is hooped on it (has voice alert for low fuel though). What is the prognosis for replacement (expensive, hard to find, whole gauge set replace)? It also has a siezed air cond. compressor, how easy are they to find, again, expensive? Body seems in good shape, originally an American car I believe.

I can't help you with the digital dash but he AC compresor I believe is the same on all Z's at least from the exterior. Go to a local junkyard and see what you can find.

I have a spare digital dash I would be willing to let go if you cannot find one where you are. I am in the San Francisco Bay Area. Let me know if you need it, and we can make arrangements.
