Majestic Turbo (800-231-5566). Don't have the wrong concept about turbos. Just about any turbo will produce 18psi of boost, but will it provide any more lb/hr past a certain boost level. You should size your turbo for your desired hp level. I run 19psi on my 240z. I use the t3/t04e (57mm compressor wheel, stage 3 turbine with .63 a/r turbine housing) This turbo is for 400+ hp levels although you can run it at lower boost levels. You will definitely need bigger injectors. If you use a rising rate regulator to adjust fuel pressure, 440cc injectors will be fine. If you only plan to use the stock regulator, I would suggest 480cc injectors. You will need to intercool if you plan to run anything higher than 10 psi of boost. good luck

you currently have a full t3 unit, meaning the turbine and compressor side are from a t3 turbo. When you go to the hybrid the turbine side will remain a t3 unit and this is the part that bolts to the manifold. The compressor side will be changed to the t04 unit. The compressor dictates the density of the charge and is expressed in lb/hr. they use to widely rate turbos according to cfm. Anyway, you will want to port the turbo if there is a overhanging lip going into the turbo. Let me try to make this more clear. If the opening to the turbo doesn't match the opening on the manifold you might have to port the turbo. It is ok if the turbo opening is bigger than the manifold opening. But if the turbo opening is smaller than the manifold opening there will be a lip that the exhaust must pass over and is very obstructive to flow. You will need to grind down the turbo port until the ports match. If you really didn't care about ultimate performance you could just bolt the **** thing on and not worry about flow obstructioin. Also, the stage 3 turbine does require some mods to be made. I had to put longer studs into the manifold because the turbo flange was thicker. And the T04E unit requires some minor mods as well. I had to shim out the turbo from the manifold by 3/16 because the compressor housing was hitting the exhaust manifold. I also had to do some grinding on the compressor housing to make it fit. If you want to avoid making a shim and grinding, you can choose the T04B instead of the T04E for the compressor side.

Actually the 3.9 diff is not that great for turbo cars. You want to build load in the motor so to make more boost. I currently have a 3.36 in my turbo car and whip the shi# out of everthing. You will want to run a 3.54 or at the most 3.70. You might get the initial hole shot with your 3.9, but I can assure you that you will get eaten up down the road. When I ran the 3.54 I could make 14 psi of boost in 1st gear and when I went to the 3.36, I could make 17 psi of boost in 1st gear. I raced a buddy of mine who has a turbo car with the 3.9. He would get a slight edge in 1st gear, but by the time we hit 3rd I was pulling away with no problem, just some things to consider.
