Won't start without starting fluid. Won't idle without starting fluid till warmed up.
Will idle on its own once warm but cannot accelerate without starting fluid. With
starting fluid it will rev nice and smoothly. I have changed fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs. I have done a continuty check on injectors, air flow meter, and throttle valve switch. All were within specs. I also tried another control unit without any sucess. What should I check next? Any help would be appreciated since the local garage was unable to figure it out. They actually suggested I consider converting to carbouration.

Does (nt) mean non-turbo?

Check the Thermotime Switch and Cold Start Valve. Run a jumper to the "+" side of the coil and one terminal of the Cold Start Valve hook the other terminal of the Cold Start Valve to ground. Now the Cold Start Valve will be active when the key is in the "run" and ""start" position.

Put a fuel pressure gauge between the fuel filter and the fuel rail. What is the pressure?
