you can take them apart and get the lock redone to fit your key. Assuming you have a COMPETENT locksmith in your area. Not Home Depot, Walmart, hardware store. someone with a sign that says Locksmith. works better if you know your key code. the lock cylinder itself is very similar to the ones in the doors.
did you try it both directions? it has two positions. if you really want it fixed you might try Z specialties (datsunstore.com) or email [email protected] . Mail it to him he can fix it or maybe get you one with a key. Again if you know your key code makes things much easier. little paper tag in the glove box with like X9999 or M9999 (it doesn't look very official handwritten). otherwise look at the hatch lock cylinder or driver door cylinder should be stamped there.
