For sale-1978 280Z. I just bought this car on Nov 12, 1998. I have the title signed by the person I bought it from, still unsigned by me, and the bill of sale. I also have the smog certificate. I haven't even registered it yet. I bought it for $1100 and put front and rear brakes on it. I didn't turn the rotors so the front drivers side squeaks when you brake. It is a 5 speed, has a/c that needs recharging, was painted gray by the previous owner. The car runs great, no smoke and has plenty of power. The black interior is still in good shape. I am selling it for the exact same price I bought it for, $1100. Why am I selling it? Because I had a 77 280Z a few years ago and had problems staying under the speed limit. I got 2 tickets within a 4 month period and my insurance got expensive. I have a 82 toyota celica that I drive now and haven't had a ticket in over 2 1/2 years, until yesterday. After putting brakes on the 78 Z I took it for a drive down a winding canyon road and got a ticket. I can't afford to keep getting tickets like this and would rather just sell the car. I live in Van Nuys CA. You can email me at [email protected].
