In the process of restoring my 78, I need to change out the aftermarket radio for a factory original. Does anyone know which radios were available in that model. It is a "Black Pearl" so I would assme that it had the high-end radio installed. Need the brand and model # if anyone knows.

The only radios I have seen in the Z's of that era are Hitachi AM/FM.
Let me know if you need one, I have a couple of extras.

78 is little different from all others. 3 FM/2 AM preset instead of 2fm/ 3am. I got one out from my black pearl.

FWIW these old radios were very poor quality - mine was a Clarion. Mono and 5 push buttons for the AM/FM preset stations. It was the first thing I replaced, w/ the OE speakers (which I may still have if you are interested).
