I just bought a 78 with an automatic. How many speeds are there?

so...
put a four-speed automatic in it from an 82/83 Maxima.....
If you need a fourth speed in a tall .67 overdrive....
Better get a 4.11 rearend to match the overdrive speed for non-lugging cruise, though!

that would rock driving 100 + at 2 k with a TA the stocks SUCK who figured that out in a z..
