I just bought a 78 280Z. The previous owner apparently only drove the car in the warm weather. He changed to a larger throttle body and AFM with variable resistor but also took off the air control valve, dash pot, TPS and EGR. The car runs fine when warm but is Terrible cold. I've got 2 78 Z's and an 80 ZX for parts. What should I put back?

junkman,it's running without the TPS? put it on and adj.it. the TPS lets the ECU know if your at idle or open throttle.reinstall the air reg. for cold starts, and if you need egr on to pass inspection reinstall it too.
