I currently own my second '77 model. I have the Nissan service manual and have gone through what you are currently experiencing. E-mail me directly and I'll fill you in on all the gory details. Most of your problems are due to dry rot, corrosion, etc. some of them will require you to take it to a very well equipped shop to truly fix. Not a huge amount of money but you need an exhaust gas analyzer to do the final set-up on the fuel injection system.
