HiYaAll,
Just to let you know I checked the wires on my 75 today. Well.. I replaced 3 because the wires going to the dist cap were badly corroded. Apparently sometimes you get those wires that are straight with a rubber boot thrown over it.
The previous owner didn't have them seated all the way. Green/whiteish corrosion had set in on the wires and inside the cap. Just because the cap says Bosch doesn't mean you can take it for granted. Next I checked where the wire fit inside the coil. It too was all corroded and rusty so I used some sandpaper to clean it up inside. Use dialetric grease whenever possible. Its amazing that the car even ran considering the limited connections.
