HiYaAll,
Replaced the alternator on my 76 w/ spare from 77. Same results on voltage guage , about 13 V. New battery too- same results. However my tail lights are now working. The turn signals, wipers, fuel guage, interior dash lights Do Not.
I swapped out fusible links-same. Anybody have any ideas? Where is
voltage regulator located so I can swap with my spare? Should I try to swap
out ECU or F.I. relay ?
Appreciate it.. man I hate elec probs

The voltage regulator is mounted underneath the bracket that holds the fusible links and vacuum valves. But with as many different things you have broken I think you are chasing several failures and not just one total failure. Those things you mention that don't work are on different fuses, some are constant, some are on with key to "ACC". All of those components are common failures, but all together they don't point at any one common cause.

Just swapping out fusible links doesn't really help with diagnostics. You need a voltage meter and check that both sides (at the terminals) has power (with things like headlights and radio turned on). Also do the same at the fuse box, with ignition on and all stuff turned on. I'm sure that you'll find dead circuits, if not then search the archives for each individual component that has failed.
