If I am correct (big IF), the vacuum switching valve sits on a bracket atop the thermostat housing. The valve has 2 vacuum ports and 2 wires. My car runs fine but these 2 ports are not connected to any vacuum source. There is a short section of hose on one port that goes nowhere and the other port facing the firewall has no hose at all. It is hard for me to decipher the drawing in the fsm and I would like to know where the vac lines should be going. As I said before, the car runs fine but clearly has some vacuum leaks as the idle doesn't change when I remove the oil filler cap. All other lines appear to be where they should be. Thanks for any input.
