My steering wheel wobbles during braking(not a vibration). cause: warped rotors? If so,is the 84' 300zx
rotor/88' toyota 4x4 caliper
a real upgrade, has anyone else done this?

Sounds Like an Alignment Problem

Normally, a warped rotor is more likely to cause a judder than a wobble. I'd advise you to check your front end alignment and anti-sway bar bushings before you blow big bucks on a brake upgrade.

My call is warped rotors. Have them turned and your "wobble" or "judder", "shimmy" what ever you chose to call it should will be history. However, that is not to say it won't return after 10K miles.

I agree with RIK. Usually a warped rotor.
But.. it can also be caused by a bent hub or the rack
n" pinion moving, bushings etc..
If it's the rotor then your caliper piston could be frozen.
