i'm in the planning stages of a restoration for my 260z. alot fo what i've read states cooling as an inherant wealness of these fine cars. i'm considering upgrading to a larger radiator like that advertised in the motorsport catalog...i'd also like to change to an electric fan to lose the parasitic power loss of the stock model. has anyone tried this conversion...and was it sucessful. i'm in georgia where summer heat is a big concern.

The best solution I have found is to go all the way and install a great radiator.....from a company that does only Z applications....it is costly but the results are incredible.....check out Arizona Z.....

My original 260Z runs fine here in Tampa with the stock radiator (even in the summer with the a/c on). Unless you modify the engine, you should be o.k. But,,,, you are right, an electric fan with save a few H.P.s

We sell new 3 core radiators for 159.00 + shipping with a 1 year guarantee.
We usually stock 240z, 260z, 280z, and 280zx
Haven't had any overheating problems with these,
and, yes, they are aftermarket.
