Hey everyone, so I got my hands on a D612-53 distributor fully rebuilt with pertronix already installed for a steal. I previously bought a flame thrower 1.5 ohm coil and new ballast resistor as I was going to stay with points, but decided otherwise. Is it better running the ballast and coil or should the ballast be removed and just buy a 3.0 ohm coil? Car is otherwise stock with 8mm spark plug wires. Also, in converting.. Can I run a larger spark gap, if so, whats the new gap? Thanks in advance
