I am driving a 73, and acquired a 72 for parts. Will the 72 carbs with manifold exchanged perform better ? i have hot restart and occasional hesitation problem now
can someone help me before i disfigure both engines ?

72 Carbs= Performance, daily driving
73 carbs= crappy performance, breakes down easily

You make the decision. The 72 are good for everthing and the 73 are plain crap.

I seem to recall the head on the 72 is better than the 73, as well. How much work do you want to do?
