Hi All,

Can someone with a decent '70 Z please tell me how the vents on the
rear hatch are supposed to go? Specifically, how does the vent panel
on the inside of the hatch go in?

Is the hinge on the rubber flaps over the vents located towards the
front of the car, or the rear?

And do the vents on the underside of the panel open towards the
front or the rear?

Finally, any hints on rebuilding this panel? One of the rubber flaps
is curled up so the vent is always open (cannot possibly ever close)
and the other lies flat. I'm assuming that the rubber should lie
fairly much flat, right?

Thanks very much,

Pat

Pat ,

On my car the vent opening face the back of the car. Also, the rubber flaps should lie flat to alow air to move in one direction. If you are in need of a new panel let me know I have two of them, both black.
