I am finishing up the install of a Stock 83 ZXT ECCS into my 280Z. The one thing that stumps the **** out of me is the Fuel pump ground wire. It comes out of the EFI harness and is then sheilded to the fuel pump. WHY is it sheilded and can I compleatly bypass the Fuel Pump relay on this setup. I know the ECCS cuts the fuel pump off at 6500 but I am not worried about a rev limit. I am going to get a SDS as soon as I can get rid of my 3XDCOE's Well anyway if anyone has transplanted a stock setup please help. I just want to know if I can leave out any wires and if someone has figured out how to plug in the harness please advise.. I would have tested the setup tonight but my starter is toast so I can't even crank it to see if it will start. Well sorry to ramble, help if you can, Enjoy the Ride.
