Hi, I'm just trying to find out what this thing in the engine bay does. I couldn't find it in the FSM. It has a plug on the bottom. Thanks

Clean off the wires on the engine harness side of the plug and tell us how many wires and what are the colors (with stripes) of the wires.

That is the dropping resistor
