I have a 280zx turbo 1983. For a while now the car hesitates big time when I'm trying to accelerate. It even blows out some smoke (I'm not sure of the color, maybe black) This only happens if I DON'T floor it (for example, if I step on the gas 3/4 of the way it will hesitate but not on full throttle condition). It MAY be the throttle body, but I wanted to get some opinions on this. I've replaced the O2 sensor and the head temp sensor.

If it is the throttle body how do you test for that and/or replace it? Does the whole thing get replaced or the sensor piece?
