280zx Fiberglass Body

Does anyone know of a company that produces fiberglass replacement body panels for a 1983 280ZX coupe. Since the car weighs two tons with all the steel on it it should weigh about 300-400 lbs less if I can convert the body to fiberglass.
Please let me know if anyone knows of a company that can help me out.

Thanks

There is a few places that sell kits, I think that Victoria British sells fenders and flares, and there is another that sells complete kits, to make the car almost unrecognisable. If ya really want to ditch weight, start with the power steering, AC, cruise controll, etc.. That's where alot of beef is hiding. The stock fenders are sooo thin, and weigh something like eight pounds each. Remember, that's long fender! I doubt that you would get 400 lbs off with replacing this kind of stuff. The hood, however, you may get 50 lbs off by using fiberglass, can't say for sure. But that AC is 100 lbs if ya have it. The earlier cars were light because there was no power windows, the interiors were not so elaborate, there was'nt so much crash standards stuff, and the all eivil emissions GARBAGE!! As was said before here, the early cars were a motor with a couple of seats along for the ride.
