280zx digital clock/lap timer wiring

I pulled a '81 280zx digital clock (the quartz one with the lap timer) from the J/Y. I don't know where the wires are supposed to go... There are four wires comming out of the back of the clock: solid black, blue with red stripe, green with white stripe, blue with white stripe. Where do I have to hook these wires up so it will work... (in a 280z) I'm guessing one has to go to ground, one to power and one to continuous power and IDK about the other one. I don't want to fry the clock by running it the wrong way... Please help.... thanks.

I will check my Haynes manual tomorrow for you... email me if I forget...
Olie, you sure about those wire colors? Haynes indicates red with white stripe, red with blue stripe, and green with white, solid black.

I'm going to email you some addl information.
positive about the wires... I'm looking at the wires coming directly off the clock, these wires plug into the circuit board for the triple gauge cluster.
Just sent you an email @ your ev1 account. Good luck with this- maybe someone with an FSM will chime in?
