Hi all,

My son has found a 280ZX (1981 2+2) that he sort of likes -- and the
price is right-- except that it's really rusty around the rear wheel
arches. Only about 2 to 3 inches, but the wheel lip is shot. The
rest of the car isn't bad at all, rust-wise.

I've been looking for quarter panels and can't find any. Nothing
available for 2+2 (other than Nissan at $675 each -- if they can
still get 'em).

Does anyone know of a source?

Alternatively, does anybody know whether I can cut the wheel arch out
of a coupe quarter panel and have it more or less fit the 2+2?

Thanks,

Pat

Pat, we could ship you used ones from a 2+2. Please give city or zip code, and I could give you a quote. thanks, Joe

Pat,
I see from your email address that you are somewhere in CA. I know of a boneyard in Phoenix that can find almost anything for zcars, but I am not sure if they can ship the parts to you. They quoted me a price of 100.00 for a front fender for my 77 280z 2+2. Certainly is cheaper than going to a dealer.
