I asked a friend of mine and he said it was on the valve train...but where, and how do i fix it...

What this poor un-Datsun-educated sole was refering to was a rocker arm. The rocker arms are located underneath the cam. You will need to remove the cam cover to get to them. It sounds like what you need is a valve adjustment. No big deal. You will need 14mm and 17mm open end wrenches and some feeler gauges. Set the lash on the intakes at .010 and the exhausts at .012. This should do the trick. If you need more explanation, just post a message here.
