I recently bought a 83 280zx in bad shape on the inside , the car sat in the junk yard for 11/2 years when the towed it to the front it started has not since. except for today now it won't again i was told the a start button was installed under the dash becuase the ignition didn't work but the wire to that has been taken off how can i redo this wire or fix the original problem alltogether. It will be a good project car the interior needs a lot of help and so do I so stay tuned will need more advice. I live in the northern VA area if anyone is close could use direct advice.

To make a car start you need a start button with two wires on it. One goes to the +,pos. of the battery. the other one goes through the firewall to the small pin on the starter that absolutly any mechanic can find. It is next to the positve twelve volt cable on the starter. Good luck. I fix cars in LA and I have 9yrs. exp. in electronics. Tell me what happens. Norm
