It's a 77 or 78 280Z. From the rust and general condition, it looks like a parts car. Unless you want to try parting it out yourself, list it for $1,000 and get rid of it. I don't know how Missouri about titles, but you'll probably be challenged to get it titled. Can you sell it only on a bill of sale?

missouri allows sale with just a bill of sale for older cars. Ill try and list it for 1k i guess

I think you should have someone who knows cars take a look at it in terms of its rust situation. If the frame and body aren't bad, it's worth more than $1000. Even as a parts car it's probably worth more than that.

I'm not convinced that it's a parts car, as dirt can make it look worse than it is. We see Z-cars in this forum every week that look as bad and the owners are restoring them.

I urge you to get someone who knows cars there and have them take a look at it. If you can find a Z-car owner either on this forum or on Classic Zcar Club or https://www.zhome.com/ to come look at it, you will be glad you did.

If I wasn't too far away, I would take it myself and get it fixed up. Are there keys for it? Also, the major factor for me is the underbody and if there's a lot of rust, to me, that's scrap right there. If little to no rust on the underbody, it'll be worth about $1,000 or more. It just depends on where parts can be obtained to make it look nice.
