I have a 1971 240 and also have the Toyota calipers. Do I need some kind of braket to install these cause they do not seem to fit by themselves. Please any help is apreciated. Also what booster should I use in my car. I am leaving the stock brakes in the back for now but will eventually put the rotors on. I am using the 280ZX master but with what booster should I use it. I have a Nissan Silvia booster and master, do any of you think I should use this setup?

Thanks,

Manuel

There are two sizes of toyota 4 piston calipers. One fits the oem 240Z rotor, the other fits the 84-86 300ZX NA rotor (with a spacer). Check the archives or go to www.zhome.com
I'm using the oem size rotor/caliper set-up with a 81 280ZX booster/MC. The pedal feel is a bit stiffer than stock...but it stops on a $0.10.

I have read that when doing this upgrade it is necessary to cut the dustguard to make the new calipers fit. If the dustguard is in the way then this might be your answer.
