200sx rear end

I WAS IN A JUNK YARD TODAY AN FOUND A FEW 200SX ONE 84,ONE 85,AND I THING A 1990, I HAVE HEARD THAT THESE CARS CAN WITH THE 411-REAR END IS THIS TRUE IF SO WHICH ONE SHOULD I GO WITH FOR MY 240ZT SWAP I'M PLANING. I ALSO SAW A 85-300ZX TURBO THERE IS THERE ANY THING ON THAT CAR THAT WOULD FIT THE 240 AND WOULD BE WROTH GETTING?

yes the 200sx's have a 4.11 rear end (not sure on the 84' but the 85 is). if it is a turbo then it will have a r200 4.11 which would be the one you want if it is NA then it's a r180 but requires some modifacation to be used with 240 half shafts.

Here's a good site that shows many different years of Z's, and what RD, head, block and pistons they had. It does go on to talk about the 200SX RD as well. I found it useful and informative, although i think a lot of the info came from here, at zcar.com. Props to whoever compiled all the info.
