I know motorsports sells springs that drop the Z an inch an give an increase of 15-20% spring rate . If you measure the height of a 2+2 it is an inch lower, and if you look in the factory service manual you can see they are about 15% stiffer . Has anyone transpanted springs form a 2+2 over . It seems like a cheap alternative and would give a normal Z the extra edge .

You did post at twinturbo board before mabey I am thinking of a different Tim, you were helpful none the less . I think manners goes a long way especially on the internet twinturbo board is out of control again too bad it was a good board .

I have a 75 280z 2+2 what would be a good source for new springs that are stiffer than stock no more than an inch lower than stock. Sam 75 280z

Tim what do you get, what did you get Hmmmm!!
I myself am getting a new hybrid very soon . I plan to get the T3/T04E - 46mm trim, I picked this baby out a couple months ago after doing extensive research . It has very low end effeciency and it has a peak 76% eff . It should be very good up until about 17-18 psi more than I will ever need . I haven't talked to the guys at turbonetics yet, but this exact same turbo was in Sport Compact Car very good writeup . Let us all know how it works out .
