I am weighing all of my options with my howling 2+0 NA rear differential and I may just drop another diffy in to save time while I fix mine. I found a 2+2 differential for $100 (recycled) and I need to know if a NA differential is a NA differential whether its from a 2+2 or a 2+0? I tried the search and I didnt come up with much in this topic.

Good luck with that, I know how unbearable that howl can get, its like a banshee took up residence in the back of your car.

Re: 2+2 Differential fit?

I just about had the old diffy dropped last night (5am) but that last bolt (the one snugged up to the spare tire well) was giving me a fit. I tried a deep well 19mm and a shorty but I couldn’t get the room to turn that bad boy with any amount of arm with that stud protruding out. I found a semi-deep well to try tonight, and swap the diffy tomorrow. I am taking pics along the way which I will post as soon as I have a good driving day (howl free).
