I am looking for the american or japanesse wireing diagram.I am rewireing the electrical system.

Sounds like you should get the factory service manual for the car. I would feel very sorry for anybody trying to rewire a 280ZX without one of these puppies.

Do an Archive search under Dyment for details of how to get one. Pull out your checkbook ( unless your time is worth less than nothing. )

The back of the Haynes 280ZX manual (its red and pink colored) has all sorts of electrical system wiring diagrams for every variety and model (each individual year; Turbo, 2+2, Deluxe, Grand Luxury, etc)
but the only thing that I don't like about it, is the wiring diagrams don't give you much info on the actual physical location in the car of all the wiring and components, but it does have everything else (wire colors, routing, bridges/links, connectors, loopbacks, electrical components, fuses, fusable links, etc.)

I believe it costs under $15, and most auto parts stores have it.
