Is that a California license plate? I can't quite make it out, but if it's not Texas, how much time did the car spend out of state, and where?

My 280ZX started in Oklahoma and spent most of its life in Central Texas, so I am aware that the result can be no rust. If the car was in coastal Texas, it might be a bit different.

It was purchased in texas and stored in garage in Illinois then moving to Wisconsin hense the license plate is Wisconson where it is still stored in a garage. Its a well kept well maintained car.
